Who we are

Adorbis ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI gateway service that intelligently routes AI requests across multiple model providers. This Privacy Policy applies to the Adorbis platform, accessible at ai.adorbistech.com and the API at api.adorbistech.com.

Information we collect

Account information

When you sign up for Adorbis, we collect:

• Email address — for account login, password resets, and important service notifications
• Display name — to personalize the dashboard greeting
• Authentication identifiers — a unique account ID issued by our authentication provider (Wix Members)

We do not require phone numbers, postal addresses, dates of birth, or government identifiers to use Adorbis.

API usage data

When you use the API, we log:

• Request metadata — timestamp, model selected, token count, latency, response status code
• API key identifier — to attribute usage to the correct project and bill correctly
• Routing decisions — which model was chosen and why (for the decision trace feature)

We do not retain the content of your prompts or model responses after the request completes, unless you explicitly opt in to debugging logs for a specific request.

Payment information

If you upgrade to a paid plan, payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full card details on our servers. We retain only:

• Stripe customer ID
• Subscription status and plan tier
• Last four digits of your card (for invoice display)

Technical data

Our web servers automatically log:

• IP address (for rate limiting and abuse prevention)
• Browser type and version
• Pages viewed and timestamps

These logs are retained for 30 days and then automatically deleted, except where required for security investigations.

How we use your information

• To operate, maintain, and improve the Adorbis service
• To authenticate you and provide access to your account
• To route your API requests to the appropriate AI model
• To bill you accurately for paid plans
• To send service announcements (downtime, security notices, important changes)
• To prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents
• To comply with legal obligations

What we will never do

Third-party AI providers

When you send a request to a cloud-hosted model, that request must be transmitted to the model provider to receive a response. Adorbis acts as a gateway between you and these providers:

• Anthropic (Claude models) — see Anthropic Privacy Policy
• OpenAI (GPT models) — see OpenAI Privacy Policy
• OpenRouter (model aggregator) — see OpenRouter Privacy Policy

When you use local models (such as Llama or Qwen running on our infrastructure), your prompt and response never leave Adorbis servers.

Data retention

• Account data — retained while your account is active. Deleted within 30 days of account closure.
• API request logs (metadata) — retained for 90 days for billing and analytics.
• Prompt and response content — not retained after the request completes (default).
• Server access logs — 30 days.
• Billing records — retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting laws.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California, and similar laws elsewhere), you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correct — fix inaccurate data in your account
• Delete — close your account and have your data erased
• Export — receive your data in a portable format
• Object — opt out of specific processing activities
• Withdraw consent — at any time, where we rely on consent

Security

We protect your data with:

• Encryption in transit — all communications use TLS 1.3
• Encryption at rest — sensitive data is encrypted using AES-256
• Scoped API keys — keys are scoped to projects and can be revoked instantly
• Access controls — only authorized personnel can access production systems
• Regular security reviews — code, infrastructure, and dependencies

If you discover a security vulnerability, please email security@adorbistech.com and we will respond within 48 hours.

Cookies

Adorbis uses cookies for:

• Authentication — to keep you logged in
• Preferences — to remember your dashboard theme (dark/light)

We do not use third-party tracking or advertising cookies.

Children's privacy

Adorbis is not intended for use by children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a child, contact privacy@adorbistech.com and we will delete it promptly.

International data transfers

Our infrastructure is hosted on servers located in Europe. If you access Adorbis from outside Europe, your data will be transferred to and processed on these servers. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) and other appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email (to the address on file) and post a notice in your dashboard. Continued use of Adorbis after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
